Therapist Overview

I graduated with a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family therapy; and today work in private practice as an LMFT. My areas of specialization are with eating disorders, teen issues, anxiety, depression, OCD, and Perinatal Wellness. I enjoy working with teens and adults; as well as the special needs population. I enjoy working with clients who are ready to make healthy changes, and need the support in doing so. I believe in creating a safe place for healing while challenging clients to be proactive in their own treatment. This approach empowers clients and is especially healing for children and teens! Through the use of mindfulness, relationship building, and self-awareness, I strive to gently support clients in developing long-term skills to improve self-care. I incorporate both cognitive behavioral therapy and narrative therapy to help achieve emotional healing. I believe in taking a whole family approach to healing. I understand the first step toward treatment is reaching out for help. Although this step can be intimidating, this is the most important step you will make toward recovery. I believe in creating a healing environment which allows room for personal growth and development.
