“Let Food be Thy Medicine” Hippocrates. In 480 BC, humans knew that food and nutrition were the basis for all health. Healthy nutrition is a critical element of mental well-being. Scientific evidence shows that poor nutritional status affects mental health and the development of psychiatric disorders. The lack of essential nutrients is known to contribute to anxiety, depression, and ADHD. The need is great for kind, understanding, education and support. I seek clients who desire guidance to help the healing process through food. I specialize in helping clients make meaningful food choices to mitigate or eliminate the effects of anxiety, depression, ADHD, auto-immune disease, hormone imbalance, diabetes, obesity, women’s health issues, GI and bowel dysfunction. I help identify problem foods then provide suggestions for delicious alternatives. My job is to teach you to work with your own body, listen, respond, and benefit from a healthy relationship with real food. We are partners in healing.
