Therapist Overview
You may feel broken, different, and struggle to make all the “pieces” fit together. Perhaps that is further complicated because you are a survivor of trauma, or struggling with immense grief, and find it difficult to maintain healthy relationships or feel balanced. We cannot go back in time, but we have this sacred moment, and I want to help you grasp it and make it genuine. I want to help you find choice, autonomy and radical compassion in who you are. If you are partnered, I want to help you develop skills to nourish growth in that partnership. I believe in the sacred art of telling our story through the creative process. Besides talk therapy, I invite you to explore issues through non-verbal means such as painting, writing, drawing, 3D sculpture or sound. My style is compassionate but empowering, I’m not here to simply nod and listen. I also utilize CBT, DBT, TFCBT and mindfulness practices. I work with the full age-spectrum (kids, teens, adults), however I specialize in trauma, grief, anxiety, LGBTQIA, and spiritual enlightenment. I have extensive experience working within LGBTQIA communities and view my work through a feminist, social justice lens. I hope this small introduction has helped you, and welcome you to call for a free consult.
