Therapist Overview
I have a passion for helping people feel empowered to improve the quality of their lives. Due to an immense amount of demands and changing circumstances; depression, anxiety, grief, and stress can take a big toll on us. My focus is to assist people in coping with life stressors and to help people better manage their lives. I provide comfort to those who feel as though he or she is struggling alone. We all need someone to truly listen to us and understand our battles without the fear of judgement and through our sessions people are left feeling empowered because their thinking pattern is more clearer. When a client call the number listed, ask to see Aubrey. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help alter people’s attitudes and behaviors by focusing on cognitive processes. Our thoughts, beliefs, and attitudes are the driving forces behind our actions, so by focusing in on our thoughts it allows us to have some positive variation in behavior. If you are struggling with depression, anxiety, grief, stress, relationship issues, and/or mood disorders, please know that you are not alone and help is available. Reaching out for help during times of need is very important for your well-being and it is a very important first step to getting to the life that you desire to live.
