I am now offering confidential and HIPAA compliant telemental health sessions. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) at Mental Health Counseling for Emotional Well- Being PLLC in Pleasantville, NY. My career in counseling began while serving in the United States Marine Corps, and has led me to the near completion of a PhD in Mental Health Counseling, Counselor Education & Supervision. I have had advanced training in both Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy which allows me to use tenets of both to best address the needs of the client. I specialize in working with various diagnoses including, but not limited to: Depression, Anxiety, Adjustment Disorders, Post Traumatic Stress, and Substance Use Issues. In addition, I have a passion for helping kids and teens as they progress through adolescence. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out! My interests within the counseling field include sports psychology, the issues surrounding athletic injury and rehabilitation, and working with first responders. My enthusiasm for helping others has allowed me to present my research at conferences in New York, Chicago, and Washington DC. I also am an adjunct professor of counseling at a local university.
