Valerie’s House is a loving place for grieving families where children learn that loss doesn’t have to limit their dreams. We are a special place for children and families in Southwest Florida to connect with one another and learn the tools to heal after they have experienced the death of a parent or sibling. All group services are offered at no cost to families. With the help of professional clinicians our support groups are designed to give children a safe place to grieve and grow. Children will know other children like them and heal together. Valerie’s House also supports caregivers as they cope with the loss of a spouse or child. Our mission is to help children and families work through the death of a loved one together and go on to live fulfilling lives. Our vision is that no child will grieve alone.
