My personal goal as a therapist is to empower my clients to live the lives they value. My therapeutic approach encourages awareness of how our thoughts affect our feelings, helps people see how their past impacts their present and future, and assists families in becoming more connected. I have extensive experience helping people dealing with eating disorders in the outpatient, intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization levels of care. I am trained in Family-Based Treatment of Eating Disorders (FBT) and have a passion for helping families navigate the process of obtaining appropriate care for their loved one. I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitizaion and Reprocessing (EMDR), a powerful tool for helping heal trauma. I also see many clients experiencing anxiety, depression, grief and loss, issues related to foster care and adoption, family and marital therapy.
