I feel grateful that people let me into their lives and share with me their problems and fears as well as their hopes and dreams. Making a choice to come to therapy can be a difficult decision but it’s also a brave one. Having a therapist you trust and have a good relationship with is the most important factor in determining your success in therapy. I employ a person-centered, empathetic approach in an environment that is supportive and non-judgmental. I challenge people to explore their beliefs and search within themselves for the solutions that work for them. I have experience using a number of treatment modalities and tailor my approach to the client’s needs. I help individuals dealing with trauma and have been trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy. I am also available to provide supervision to social workers seeking licensure.
