Therapist Overview

Therapy is a meaningful way to face our biggest fears and challenges. It is a process that nurtures self-understanding and acceptance so that we can grow and adapt to our circumstances. I am a licensed psychoanalyst who provides therapy to adults, adolescents, couples and groups. I provide a confidential, open, warm and playful space for you to gain self-understanding and face the obstacles that are holding you back. I am a member of the National Psychological Association for Psychoanalysis (NPAP) in New York City, where I received an intensive decade-long clinical training in psychoanalysis. Prior to that, I earned a Masters of Arts in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University. My work is guided by the principals of Intersubjective Self Psychology, a psychoanalytic framework that focuses on the centrality of empathy in the therapeutic relationship.
