The brain and the mind are remarkable in all the things they can do. However, there are instances where an individual’s mind works differently or less efficiently than their peers. This can result in difficulties in academic, social, or occupational settings. This can be due to an underlying explanation that has been there all along, something that follows a significant event, or the result of gradual changes over time. I work with clients across the lifespan from ages 6+ to help determine if their thinking is typical for their stage in life or outside of anticipated ranges. I then get them connected with intervention options. Formal testing can provide objective data to quantify and track changes in cognitive functioning. This process can also provide diagnostic clarification to help guide treatment options. I conduct psycho-educational testing with children and young adults, ADHD testing for adults, and neuropsychological testing for older adults. If you have concern for yourself, a
