Cristina J Blanchard

I was born and raised in Pasadena, CA and began working in the field of mental health/addiction while in graduate school at Pepperdine University in 2003. I have a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology and am a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist Associate. I began my career working with severe mental illness in an inpatient psychiatric setting. I then began working with children and families in various inpatient and outpatient settings, primarily in urban Los Angeles. I also worked in the Juvenile Halls throughout Los Angeles conducting psychological assessments to intervene on those children struggling with undetected mental illness and substance abuse disorders. My primary clinical focus is substance abuse, mental illness and life transitions. I worked for several years with children and families and have advanced specializations in trauma, childhood PTSD, and assisting parents with implementing effective parenting interventions.
