Sometimes, life can feel hopeless or overwhelming. Sometimes, we find that the coping tools we have relied on are no longer working to manage the altered reality around us. Sometimes, we all need help, and reaching out is the first step. My approach to therapy is client-centered and eclectic, but I believe in focusing on individual strengths and finding solutions-focused methods to address individual problems. With experience living and working in diverse societies, I seek to understand your unique cultural perspectives and values. I use cognitive and behavioral approaches, but I am open to adjusting my techniques. I work with children (ages nine and up), adolescents, adults, and couples. My areas of specialization are: depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, and LGBTQIA/ gender identity issues.
