Therapist Overview
My passion and privilege in counseling is two-fold: To help couples who feel stuck in their marriages and emotionally disconnected from their spouses; and to help women who are struggling with where they are at in life – whether that struggle be with anxiety, depression, relational issues, trauma, transitions, or other life circumstances. My desire is to guide couples and individuals as they discover the clarity, wisdom, and direction that leads to lasting change. My doctoral work in Neuroscience, along with advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (for couples and individuals) and EMDR gives me the opportunity to integrate my varied strengths to guide clients toward emotional health in their closest relationships and healing from traumatic life experiences. My Christian world view under girds my counseling passion and helps me to walk openly and honestly with individuals who are struggling to make sense of their relationship with God in the midst of difficult life circumstance
