Therapist Overview
In my practice I am hoping to work with primarily LGBTQIA+ and queer individuals seeking emotional and spiritual support navigating major life changes or events. My clients are generally seeking an active, empathetic listener to share and process their feelings with, but more specifically seeking a safe, non-judgmental place and space to process the spiritual and existential aspects of their experiences as well. As a queer Humanist spiritual counselor I offer members of my community a place to process and reflect on their experiences as emotional, spiritual, and existential beings, in a space free from judgment and with a counselor and facilitator deeply familiar with the languages and vocabularies of traditional and nontraditional spiritualities. As a life-long spiritual seeker I understand how vital it is to raise and examine and reflect on one’s purpose and meaning in life. I want my practice to be a place where people can explore these vital, existential life themes and feel supported in ways that I was supported on my journey by my teachers.
