I have experience working with children and adolescents ages 2 1/2-24 years old and their families. I am passionate about working with children, adolescents and transiting youth that struggling with anxiety, depression, self-harm, self-esteem, ADHD, transitions and behavior concerns. My approach to therapy is collaborative and integrative in nature with sessions that are tailored to best fit the needs of the individual. I use behavioral intervention, parenting support, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Techniques, Solution Focus Therapy, as well as Art and expressive therapy. My work is heavily grounded in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy. I find benefit integrating play therapy, family therapy, and parenting skills into my treatment. I also find value in coordinate with outside providers, such as schools and/or medical providers in order to provide the best client care. I am very passionate about advocating for the needs of children/teens and empathetic to the change that each stage of life can bring. I make it a priority to create a safe, trusting and non-judgmental environment where clients can explore emotional difficulties and learn new coping strategies to help manage symptoms.
