I welcome new clients. I understand that It is difficult managing work, relationships, family obligations and all the other areas of our life that challenge us. It is important to have someone to talk with to problem solve and help focus in making adjustments in our thinking and living. I completed my undergraduate work at Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster PA with a double major in Sociology and Philosophy while working full time and raising children. My thesis was on the individual’s right to choose how and when to end their life. I earned a graduate degree from Bryn Mawr School of Social Work and Social Research. For the last 20 years, my work and learning experience has been diverse, to include hospice, nursing homes, couples therapy, and therapeutic work with people going through life transitions and adjustments. My therapeutic belief and philosophy is that the most important element between client and therapist is the personal connection, regardless of what therapeutic modality you use.
