Therapist Overview
I am a Clinical Mental Health Counseling program student at Northwestern University. The professionās emphasis on growth, wellness, empowerment, and normal development are important to me. In the future, I hope to work with clients of all ages ranging from children to older adults. I can help these populations through the proper diagnosis, assessment, and use of evidence-based treatment interventions. My preparation for this career comes from a school that is certified by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Program (CACREP). My approach is primarily through psychodynamics, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing. Along with others, I am able to help people who have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (EDS). While I do not have EDS, my significant other does. She is a spoonie and a tubie. Accordingly, I also am able to work with people who have chronic illnesses and disabilities. I see clients in the state of Wisconsin. For those who prefer it or those who are less able to make it to one-on-one sessions, I am able to work through telehealth. Among other things, I am working to build EDS/chronic illness groups. Caregivers or loved ones of those who suffer from chronic illnesses should not hesitate to reach out.
