If you’re reading this, you’re searching for something. You could be in intense crisis or have a desire for personal growth. Do you need the nonjudgmental, listening ear of someone outside of your everyday life? Maybe you want relief from depression and/or anxiety. Are you feeling alone and isolated? Therapy can be intense and uncomfortable. At the same time it’s incredibly validating, rewarding, and life saving/changing if you put in the work. I see adults in individual therapy. I meet you where you are in terms of the unique issues that motivated you to seek help. While I do use elements of cognitive behavioral therapy and lifespan development theory, I am primarily dynamic/ intersubjective in my approach. That means that the therapeutic relationship is the primary means of connection and change. Whatever you are going through, it’s better to go through it with support. It is human nature to want to connect with others and live well, without pain. I am very interactive in my work. I am the opposite of the old stereotype of the stoic-faced therapist that doesn’t engage. The only way to know if we are a good fit is to schedule a consultation.
