Most of us need to learn how to say what we mean and mean what we say, which sounds trite and simplistic, but is oh so difficult. Getting out of our comfort zone and leaving things behind that are toxic, abusive, or stifling perpetuates growth and helps us live our fullest life. My role as therapist is to provide a safe space where the diversity of experiences can be explored with openness, compassion, and a lack of judgment.
