This can be a very hopeless and dark place for many of us. Feelings of sadness can create emotions that we can’t see an end to, or way out of. You might not have anyone that you think will understand or “get it”, so giving up or living in isolation is the easiest solution, however, there are positive ways to cope and find the light at the end of the tunnel. We all need a way to overcome the storms in our lives, and feel peaceful in order to live the best life we can. The therapeutic process is a journey in which the client can gain new perspectives and approaches to their circumstances that can enhance, and make tolerable, even the most challenging experiences.
