Therapist Overview
Early in my career I trained at Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital assisting families of pediatric cancer patients as well as at Mount Sinai Medical Center in the Department of Developmental Pediatrics. This early training working with children and their families has not only shaped my career over the past 25 years but also fueled my passion to educate and help families of children with developmental delays and/or social-emotional/behavioral difficulties. I specialize in the assessment and diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Through providing comprehensive developmental, behavioral, and cognitive assessments on children birth through twelve, it is my goal to better understand a child on all levels. One of my passions is to help identify issues in children when they first present so as to direct and educate the family as early as possible to getting the appropriate interventions. Sharing and explaining evaluation results and available resources with parents in a warm, kind, and clear manner is an integral part of my practice. I strive to help parents understand their children and to support the family.
