This is serious work. It’s all based on actual changes you have to make in four areas in your brain and life: Change your Thinking. Change your Behaviors. Change your Physiology. Change your Emotion. You will need to work daily through the self-help exercises that I will give you. If you want to see real changes, you only need to do CBT. CBT is most effective for Anxiety and Depressive Disorders. This is not about what happened to you in childhood. This is about what are you willing to do about it now. Practice makes the change and rewiring in your brain. CBT will make that happen. Talk therapy never will. To make changes you must do. We start in educating you about your brain and mind. Change how you think through exercises. Change your behaviors through exposures. Practice!
