Camp Counseling

Hello! I’m Dr. Shannon Camp, and I won’t be accepting new patients until spring of 2021. Whether you are married, dating, single, poly, or whatever your situation is, I‘ll help you to live fully and passionately with the partner(s) of your choosing. Often people find themselves lacking intimacy, romance, and connection with their loved ones. I try and assist people in regaining what they once had, while fostering growth within both the relationship and the individual. My office is free of judgment, shame, and antiquated notions about sex and love. I welcome anyone, regardless of sexual orientation, ethnicity, race, or religion. I believe in actively engaging in the therapeutic process with my patients. This can take on many forms, such as homework, journaling, challenging negative thinking patterns, or applying immediate behavioral modification feedback. I’ve been told countless times that I am “a weird therapist” by my patients, because of my genuine and straightforward approach! I entered the this profession not only because of my desire to help others, but also because I wanted to contribute to a field that has helped the ones that I love. As an advocate for changing the way our society views mental health issues, I can assure you that therapy is not only life changing, it is one of the most empowering journeys you can embark upon.
