Therapist Overview
My primarily focus is on helping people who are experiencing problems with insomnia and other sleep disorders. If you’re having trouble falling asleep or staying asleep and feel sleepy throughout the day give me a call or send me an email. Together we can beat this. Remote telehealth is available. The majority of my training and experience is in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), and other Behavioral Sleep Medicine techniques. What this means is that I will work with you to create a customized treatment plan that can get you back to sleeping normally usually in six to eight sessions. If your reading this you’ve probably tried many different things to fix your sleep problems. Unlike other approaches CBT-I (not the same as CBT) has 30+ years of scientific peer reviewed evidence backing it up. CBT-I is recommended as the front line treatment for insomnia by the American College of Physicians and the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.
