Being a new mom is not all about instagram posts and yoga classes. Sometimes it can be very lonely, extremely emotionally draining, and psychologically challenging. Asking for help can be difficult, even scary sometimes, especially when you are comparing yourself to the perfection that you perceive of your surroundings. It takes courage to take the first step to start to feel like yourself again. Therapy could be that step. Emotions are involuntary. We can’t help what we feel, that is why we need to talk and be heard. You’re not alone. I specialize in working with women experiencing relational and interpersonal difficulties due to postpartum depression / anxiety.
