My goal as a therapist is to create a safe place in which clients may explore how patterns of thinking or acting may be creating anxiety, stress or dissatisfaction in their relationship with themselves and others. I believe therapy is a partnership between the therapist and client in a process of rediscovering and strengthening the resources we all possess that enable us to meet and handle life as it comes. My priority is meeting clients where they are and supporting them in their journey toward greater self-awareness and appreciation of their own capacity for healing and change. I am interested in working with adults who may be going through life transitions involving work, parenting, divorce, retirement or loss. I have personal experience with international adoption as well as other life experiences that enable me to create a trusting and empathic relationship with my clients.
