I have recently published my dissertation on Healing the Feminine for women in recovery. My focus on women was based on my own experience of not having a connection to myself, searching all my life to discover who I am and engaging in unhealthy behaviors that only perpetuated not knowing. Although I focused on womens’ struggle in recovery to connect with their feminine power my dissertation relates to all women who struggle on this journey. My specialties are addictions, trauma, women’s issues. Women’s issues, addictions, trauma, career changes and spiritual growth. My PhD program focused on depth psychology and object relations therapy. I incorporate these modalities with others such as cognitive behavioral and mindfulness My approach is to help my clients grow from within and help free themselves from their self imposed negative perceptions of themselves.
