( English | español ) I specialize in looking at and assessing the development of children ages birth through age 5. I have extensive experience with the Arizona Early Intervention Program (AzEIP) this includes the diagnosis of autism and other developmental disorders. I am able to conduct evaluations, including interviewing families in Spanish. Recommendations will be made. Research supports the early diagnosis of autism and other developmental disorders as early as 12 months. I spend time talking with families throughout the process. This includes talking with those closest to the child, observing and interacting with the child with the family and referral source. I DO NOT separate these young children from parents. If your child is having behavioral, emotional and overall development concerns, we will work together to appreciate what is going on and explore available and accessible resources. We will learn together to understand your child and give some starting suggestions you can start with immediately. You know your child BETTER than anyone! Your thoughts matter!
