I work with first responders and their spouses, and other individuals who are struggling in their personal and/or professional relationships as a result of being exposed to a critical or traumatic incident. I also work with individuals who have experienced childhood trauma. Critical or traumatic incidents can lead to our brain getting stuck on certain images, sounds, smells, thoughts and emotions which can lead to increased startle response, sleep disturbance, nightmares, flashbacks, anxiety, depression and anger outbursts. Sometimes the brain needs help in healing. I can help you process traumatic events so that you can heal. I specialize in trauma informed therapy. I am trained in EMDR. I hold a safe space for individuals to talk through their struggles so that they can heal. I do not judge. I also work with individuals struggling with addiction, depression and anxiety.
