Stephanie Collier

I am an LPC Intern Supervised by Tiffany Ashenfelter, LPC-S. I work with adolescents, adults, and couples who are having difficulty navigating various challenges such as stress, anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, anger issues, relationship issues, faith issues, identity, and self-worth. My passion in life is to create safe spaces where people can express who they are, process what they are going through, find healing, and grow into healthier versions of themselves. If requested by my clients, I offer faith based Christian counseling. In session, my goals are to provide empathy, authenticity, and support by meeting my clients where they are amidst the challenges of life. By nature, I am person-centered in my theoretical approach believing that healing comes from a supportive, nonjudgmental, and genuine therapeutic relationship; however, I use methods and techniques from various models. I believe that each person is unique with individual needs and goals that can be understood and supported through counseling. I work with my clients to develop a plan to meet their therapeutic goals. Life is often difficult, and it is normal to need assistance. Evening and Saturday appointments are available.
