I have worked with teens, couples and families for over 15 years in a variety of settings. I am trained in a variety of models but most often engage in active modalities with a focus on growth and healing. Equine assisted psychotherapy – engaging with horses as a core part of therapy creates opportunity to for reflection, insight, connection, growth and healing. The horses are not specially trained, no gimmicks, just horses being themselves, my expertise and healing from our pain, disappointment, and traumas. I am EAGALA certified, an AAMFT approved supervisor and have training in EMDR, DBT, Solution Focused Therapy and Internal Family Systems (IFS).
