Check your phone! Tell me about your dog! Show me pictures! You tell me what is working and not working for you in therapy & I’ll adjust. We’ll move at your pace towards goals you set. Now more about what makes our meetings psychotherapy & not just a social visit. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of North Carolina. I have degrees in Psychology & Social Work & am a Certified Clinical Supervisor to my peers. What works for my patients is combining friendly conversations with various therapeutic interventions. I will make every effort to accommodate work and school schedules. I also understand that some patients are uncomfortable in a waiting room full of people. I am happy to schedule appointments on days when our office is very quiet. It is very possible there may be no waiting time at all. I use a secure Client Portal so no interaction with a front desk.
