Lisa L Ruesch

As a licensed clinical social worker who practices psychotherapy with warmth and curiosity, I help clients reflect, heal, build on their strengths, and enact positive change. I work collaboratively with clients in an open, safe environment that allows them to give voice to and explore their many parts. Over the course of treatment, they often discover new ways of relating to others and to themselves. I have worked with adults, adolescents, and children of all races, ages, economic backgrounds, sexual orientations, and gender identifications addressing issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, addiction, chronic illness, and interpersonal conflict. My practice draws upon the analytic rigor and diligence that I used in my previous career as an attorney. My advanced training in psychodynamic psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, and trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy allows me to work with each client in the way that suits them best.
