Linda Levinson

I work with Clarity Ohio, a non-profit organization counseling and educating people recovering from addiction and those affected by addiction; including process addictions like shopping, food, gaming, Internet, exercise, gambling and sex & love addictions. I help clients not only with addiction, co-occurring disorders and crises, but issues with human sexuality, trauma, stress, depression, guilt/shame, anger, and anxiety, among others. My accumulated skills help you identify what is holding you back and how your past helps identify current strengths to achieve the life you want. My competencies include trauma, human sexuality and chemical dependency. I’m completing a certificate in sex therapy and have the knowledge and skills to work with clients who struggle with sexual dysfunction, sexual identity, sexual trauma and sexual addiction. I’m also independently licensed in substance abuse and addiction. My therapeutic approach is primarily psychodynamic. However, I realize that one approach does not fit all, and I ensure that I am evaluating and using the approach that is best for each individual.
