I have learned throughout my career that being a compassionate listener is a very powerful tool to use, as I walk along side my clients on their life path. In a safe therapeutic environment, I feel that many painful experiences have the potential to be transformed into good, through the amazingly restorative power of body, mind, and spirit. I am a psychotherapist working in private practice with a Master of Science degree in Professional Counseling from Concordia University Wisconsin, located in Mequon, WI. My focus during my career has been on EMDR, Art Therapy, Play Therapy, trauma, grief & loss, faith & spirituality concerns, LGBTQ+ community, depression & anxiety, and life transitions. I work with preschool and elementary school age children, adults, couples, families, and seniors. I have worked in non-profit, university, and county human services settings providing counseling, case management, crisis counseling, and academic advising. In addition, I have developed and facilitated psychoeducational groups for children,adolescents, and adults.
