Therapist Overview
Hello, my name is Kailey. I am a licensed professional clinical counselor, but do not consider myself the expert on what you need as a counseling client. You are the expert on you! I am a companion and a guide as you navigate life’s transitions. I focus on transitions and loss, as I believe that life is full of change! I also help facilitate dialogue surrounding disenfranchised losses such as loss of faith, and chronic illness. My work also focuses on navigating chronic as well as terminal and life limiting health diagnoses. With a background working in a Hospice setting, I am equipped to help with end of life decision making. I specialize in compassionate companionship within my counseling practice. I focus on support through death loss, divorce, chronic illness, spiritual trauma, spiritual deconstruction, and reproductive trauma. I strive to create a haven where questions, doubts, and grief can be freely expressed. Please know that I admire you for reaching out and hope to hold space for you. It is not easy to say “I am not okay,” but please know my deepest desire is for you to know that it is okay to not be okay! We don’t have many spaces to talk about loss, illness, and grief in our culture so I hope the counseling space can provide that for you.
