Thank you for visiting my profile. I am a clinician with 18 years experience. I am passionate about my work with adults with mood and anxiety disorders as well as co-occurring substance use problems and trauma. I have received specialized training in EMDR or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. I have completed the level 3 EMDR training through the Laurel Parnell Institute. This treatment has been enormously effective for individuals whom have experienced traumas or stress in their lives. I work with clients to identify core beliefs which are no longer useful. These are the beliefs which cause us to spin our wheels in life or repeat familiar patterns in relationships or other areas of our lives.I also use dialectal behavioral therapy to enhance a client’s skill set for coping with distress.
