I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor providing services through Dynami Counseling, LLC. My approach to therapy is client-centered. It is important for me to listen and provide empathy to each and every person. I work with each client to create a safe space that will allow for deeper processing and a healthy therapeutic relationship. In sessions, I primarily utilize cognitive and behavioral approaches, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), motivational interviewing, mindfulness techniques, play and art therapy, sand play, other therapeutic approaches, and offer Christian Counseling. I work with children, adolescents, adults, and families. My specialties include anxiety and depression disorders, trauma, grief, codependency, self-esteem, phase of life issues, spiritual issues, and support for military and pastoral families. I have worked in community mental health and private practice settings. I feel it is important for clients to know that I have a Christian worldview but do not push my beliefs or values onto others. I understand how difficult it is to reach out for help. You are amazing for taking this first step.
