Therapist Overview
You’re googling for a therapist because you just don’t know what else to do to help your teenager or you’re in your 20s and feel completely lost, stuck, or overwhelmed. In my therapy practice, I have been most helpful with tweens/teens (ages 9+) and young adults. My clients are teens who feel depressed/anxious (in boys it typically looks like anger), parents who are worried about their child’s moods/behaviors, or young adults who are looking back on their lives constantly questioning the professional or personal decisions they’ve made. I also work with families, specifically when there is constant parent-child conflict. I am a Marriage and Family therapist who has researched and worked with teens with depression, anxiety, and suicidal thoughts. I have been trained in Trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which allows me to help children/teens heal from traumatic experiences in their lives. I also have experience in addictions, specifically in teenagers. You are not alone in this process! As someone who is passionate about mental wellness/health, my goal is to help you find the best care! Googling through everyone is overwhelming and I’m here to help guide you. Email or call me to schedule a free 15 minute consultation or to figure out who would be the best therapist for you.
