Hello and welcome to Canyon Pines Counseling – I look forward to doing good work with you in healing, growing, and overcoming life’s many challenges. I have worked with children, adolescents, individuals, and families for over 20 years through backcountry guiding, art therapy, coaching, adventure education, experiential groups, 12-step programs, and counseling with several diverse populations. Joining me is my therapy dog, Ponyo, who is certified through the national organization Pet Partners. She is a friendly Portuguese Water Dog-Poodle mix (hypoallergenic) and brings a playful yet calm demeanor to our sessions. My specialties include anxiety, depression, teen suicidality, focus/attention, anger, substance use/abuse recovery, healthy relationships, divorce, blended families, grief/loss, trauma, and gender identity. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a Master’s degree in Counseling, and am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Colorado.
