Therapist Overview
People come to therapy for a variety of different reasons. Some individuals embark on a therapeutic process with specific goals in mind or because they have recently been impacted by particularly challenging life events. Others may pursue therapy and specifically creative arts psychotherapy as an on-going process toward deeper self-knowledge, growth, and healing. I offer individuals and couples an approach that is holistic, client-centered, non-judgmental and creative through traditional talk therapy, creative arts infused therapy, and often a synthesis of the two. I specialize in working with queer and LGBT identified individuals. and I welcome individuals of all gender identities and orientations. I specialize in treating a broad range of issues including depression, PTSD, anxiety, pervasive size-based stigma, grief and loss, and navigating cross-class, cross-cultural, interfaith, and non-monogamous relationships I offer a unique and creative, therapeutic approach that is influenced by trauma informed care, harm reduction, intersectionality, sex-positivity and body liberation. I offer a free fifteen minute phone consultation and I invite you to reach out. This is a time for you to ask any question you may have about my practice, training, and approach.
