Family Ties Counseling Services

I founded Family Ties Counseling Services to fulfil a need that presents barriers for treatment to a population that I am well equipped and have vast experience to serve. Barriers that prevented children from receiving therapy were lack of transportation; parents not able to get off work, and lack of parental involvement. I help overcome the barriers by bridging the gap of providing outpatient services in the home that will eliminate the need for enhanced services through successful treatment at a lower level of care or satisfy the lower level of care threshold for enhanced services. I am a Certified Trauma-focused CBT Therapist. I am skilled in working with multiple populations. My Comprehensive Clinical Assessments are objective, without conflict of interest trying to make clients qualify for a higher level of care. I am a grief counselor. I work with families who have childhood cancer. Family Ties offers outpatient services in the home of the children we serve or in the community. W
