Evelyn Gould

Our program at New England Center for OCD and Anxiety (Boston and Los Angeles ) offers specialized, intensive, compassionate care for children and young people struggling with treatment refractory OCD and related disorders. I have been supporting families of children with a broad range of challenges for two decades, and have particular expertise in pediatric OCD, ASD and complex co-morbid presentations. I also specialize in supporting caregivers to navigate common parenting challenges including tantrums, toilet training, feeding and sleep issues, school refusal, and “failure to launch”. We offer in-home, in-community, and school-based services to support your child and family where they need it most. We use ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention), ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), and ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) to help children and parents thrive and build a rich and meaningful life they can love. In addition to my work at NECOA, I am a Clinical Associate at McLean Hospital and Research Associate at Harvard Medical School. I strive to give back to my community through a variety of volunteer efforts, and my work reflects personal and professional values of authenticity, empowerment, compassion, resilience, diversity, equity and social justice.
