Emelyn Vargas

I am licensed Professional Counselor and a Certified School Counselor with more than 15 years of experience in practice as a counselor. I have worked with adults that struggle with many different life challenges such as depression, divorce, infertility, anxiety and depression or who are just having a difficult time dealing with life. My role as a therapist is to empower my clients to make necessary changes in order to live their best life and to teach them both positive and healthy coping skills to accomplish their goals. My vast experience as a school counselor allows me to assist parents, and their children with many school related issues. I available to provide parents with the tools necessary for them to establish quality working relationships with teachers and administrators. Counseling can provide skills, strategies and support needed to deal with specific needs and challenges. Life altering situations may occur but I can and will provide clients with positive problems solving skills.
