Therapist Overview
Many aspects of talk therapy are helpful. One aspect I particularly appreciate is helping my clients find their voice. It is through hearing ourselves talk that we define what we think, believe and feel. When we are able to put words to our feelings, we learn who we are and are better able to manage our response to problems and conflicts. I am an experienced therapist and in addition to private practice have worked in a variety of clinical settings. My experience includes ten years at a child guidance clinic, training as an Imago Relationship Therapist, and in psychiatric hospital settings. I particularly enjoy individual therapy with adults learning to manage anxiety and depression. One of life’s greatest tasks is to learn to like ourselves. This task presents itself time and again, as we travel through life and the changes we encounter. If you feel your abilities are limited by low self esteem or feelings of inferiority, it is time to change your thinking.
