I invite you to explore the challenges you face in your life. I work in partnership with my clients to develop skills and awareness that fosters a rich and meaningful life. I particularly engage image, metaphor and the creative process as a way toward healing and strengthening the individual. I also incorporate evidence-based treatment to manage undesirable symptoms. I have 20 years of experience in the mental health field working in psychiatric hospitals, educational institutions and private practice settings. I am adjunct faculty at Pacifica Graduate Institute and provide supervision for therapists in training. I have years of experience working with adolescents and young adults. Transitioning to adulthood is often a delicate and challenging time. It is often helpful to have a supportive presence to navigate these waters of discovering one’s self.
