My practice is primarily composed of adults and adolescents that are struggling with anxiety. I find that people reach out to therapy when anxiety is taking them away from the things they want to do in life. Anxiety can often leave us feeling less confident in our jobs, struggling in school and may impact our personal relationships. It can feel as if the anxiety is holding us back. This is frustrating for most of us, as we may say to ourselves that we are “not thinking rationally” or “shouldn’t be worried about this” and “why can’t I stop this?” When in fact, most of us are doing everything we can to stop feeling this way. I have successfully helped people reduce their anxiety by using research-supported strategies for worry, social anxiety, panic, and OCD. I have advanced training in cognitive behavioral therapy and use exposure therapy to make a specific plan to tackle your anxiety.
