David Ruutel, CADC earned an associate degree in Drug and Alcohol Recovery Counseling and graduated the DARC Program at Manchester Community College. He is currently working toward his bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Central Connecticut State University with the goal of getting his master’s in social work. He has worked in the recovery field for 5 years and is passionate about guiding individuals on their own personal path to recovery. As a member of the clinical team, Dave helps develop the program curriculum, facilitates therapy groups, conducts initial evaluations, provides individual counseling and coordinates community outreach. I am certain that recovery from addiction is possible with willingness, hard work, and support. When the pain gets great enough, it’s time for a change and that’s when I will be there to help.
