Therapist Overview
I strive to improve the quality of life for those affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder. I have extensive training and experience working with individuals who are unable to communicate their wants and needs, and with those who engage in problematic behavior in the form of tantrums, aggression, self-injurious behavior, and property destruction. Often times, problematic behavior occurs when an individual is unable to communicate effectively. Using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis, I focus on teaching language and communication skills to decrease problematic behavior. As a result, the quality of life will improve for the individual and his family. After an initial consultation, I will provide an assessment that focuses on communication, social skills, academics, and activities of daily living. Based on the data from the assessment and your input, I will develop an individualized treatment plan using a positive behavioral approach. I’m a kind, patient, and enthusiastic therapist,
