Therapist Overview
I specialize in the treatment of psychological trauma. Treatment is intense, and all participants must have sufficient social supports and self-care regimens in place. EMDR is the primary treatment modality and is supplemented by others. Although addictions are commonly affiliated with trauma, I do not treat addictions. I offer video or phone sessions and group workshops via video-conferencing. Note: Please do not seek treatment with me if you plan to pursue disability compensation. Those cases are best substantiated by MDs or PhD psychologists. I am neither. Participants achieve a sense of lightness early on in treatment as the primary traumatic responses are eliminated. This is then followed by a review of one’s detrimental behaviors, and an elimination of those behaviors. Treatment then focuses on the development and sustaining of new, healthy behaviors.
